Happy New Moon. While the full moons always carry names typically given by the natives from before the Gregorian calendar; the new moons are often not identified. Did you know that the new moon sets the stage for the full moon? Right now we are in the early days of the spring season. (Of course this is the opposite season for those in the southern hemisphere.) This is the first official new moon of the spring season! The new moon ushers in newness with each new "moonth". We travel through 13 cycles of the moon, with each yearly journey of the earth around the sun. The cycles of the moon unfold a very delicate and connected dance with each phase. Our new moon was at direct alignment early this morning at 4:52am EST. It will ease out of alignment, Saturday April 6, 2019, in the early morning before the dawn.
Are you beginning to follow this dance, with all the elements of nature too? Today's new moon is in the sign of Aires. Aries is the first fire sign in the Zodiac. This means things are starting to warm up in the heavens. The newness is beginning to stir, as we ease out of our winter freeze. The full moon in a few weeks goes by: the pink moon, the phlox moon, the egg moon, the grass sprouting moon, or the fish moon. Since things are just warming up, we will have an idea of which direction we feel we should move with this new moon; yet we truly won't get into full forward motion until next month's May new moon. This does not mean that you won't have an idea of which way you desire things to align. It just means that the "moonth" of April, will most like unfold in a slower process than if you had set your bulbs in a green house and forced them into bloom. Take time to quite and connect with your inner guidance system. Ask what is the most helpful energy for you to interact with during this new moon cycle? We will each receive a definite description from our personal energy team. If you are not sure of the guidance, then look to nature for some clues. Animals that cross your path as well as nature symbols are often ways in which these clues can surface. Have fun with the process of creation and let the spring sprout one moment at a time . Wishing you a beautiful new moon and happy spring!
