Wishing each of you a year ahead that aligns with your deepest desires.
One of our family New Year's Eve traditions is to write out lists on paper, much like we do on a full moon release. Instead of releasing moonth to moonth, tonight we reflect back on the entire year. This has been quite a year; yet in-between the unexpected changes, we had many silver lining moments. My hope is that you are able to put on those rose colored glasses tonight and recognize your silver linings too~! Early in the evening, we write our lists. We put to pen what we don't choose to bring forward into the new linear timeline. In addition to what we release, we also write a list of everything that we were grateful for. We put both lists into a container that is fireproof. We take it outside. add some form of smudge and light the container. As the flames turn to ash, we enjoy the glow and allow our hearts to warm into the new frequency of the next linear year. We leave the container in a safe place outside. Later in the evening, we go back outside, admire the skyline and toss the ashes into the wind. Of course we practice amazing fire safety. We are typically snow covered this time of year. Since all our snow is melted this year, we will toss the cooled ashes into our outdoor fire pit and we will make a fire outside to welcome in the new year!! We also eat Chinese food on New Year's Eve. Some years, we also put grapes on skewers as garnish for our sparkling cider. You put one grape for each year completed in the decade. So this year, you would have one grape. Instead of a skewer, could use a toothpick. Tradition says, how sweet the grapes taste is how sweet the new year will be. As many of you know, I have also added the 13 Holy Night Oracle cards into our winter celebration!! So tonight, I will cut a card for the Quantum MoonBEams and post it on the FaceBook page. I wish all of you an evening filled with harmony and trust. Allow your inner wisdom to guide you. I look forward to assisting more and more of you in the New Year. May your heart be light and those you love within your heart tonight and always. Happy 2021!!! The year of the fifth element!!
