The summer season for me has evaporated. That is a word I would use to describe how fast the day seemed to disappear this summer. I must say, much like the water disappearing from the atmosphere in our region; so now are the hours of daylight. I took a lighter approach to blogging this summer on this platform; yet actively updated our FaceBook page. If you are not a member of our FaceBook page, you are always welcome to join at any time. I am also considering other social media platforms so all moonBEams have access to information on a platform that resonates with freedom of speech and proper use of algorithms.
Now that the seasons begin to shift and we are starting to see shorter daylight in our hemisphere; I am feeling a nudge to go inward already. I hope you are following the guidance of those personal nudges, from your own higher self. One of those nudges was also to lighten up and detox my physical body prior to the incoming equinox codes. We moved to a new home in spring, amidst a world that was unsure. We were sure and knew the location we moved to. It is a piece of our heart strings. We chose to support local farmers and local restaurants with ordering food through delivery and take out. We celebrated with friends, providing yummy eats at our outdoor gatherings. The summer solstice, the new and full moons, and the planetary new year celebrations were fabulous. Such cherished times as we began a new time spiral honoring the land we now are the caretakers of. As a grid activator, I often notice how the body expands and contracts to energy. I notice when the body is requesting certain types of food as well. During my personal ascension journey, I have traveled from basic traditional meat eating food, to organic, to vegan, to gluten free, to alcohol free, and some other roads. I listened to my body who asked for the changes. No judgement. It's a personal journey. Sometimes lately, my body may request a visit back to an item that has been eliminated for a very long time. When this happens I talk to my body like I do a very close friend. I say things like really?.... Are you sure??? As I began my wellness journey over 25 years ago, I changed a few choices that had been part of my genetic DNA. I adjusted family recipes, added new items to my food intact, and took a few away. Early on, I am sure my passion was strong and my growing family was gracious. I thought everybody would desire these choices. Over the years, I have lightened up. I have allowed others to figure it out for themselves. When they are ready. I do however, speak my truth, if a personal choice may cause a huge health concern so a loved one can then make a conscious decision. I took the pressure off myself and let the individual person take responsibility for their food choices. Along with their own well being if able. My children are now older and certainly have been exposed to an enormous amount of education around the energy of food. So this post is a resource for the current energy climate. If you have a young family, you are guiding them to safe choices. The same way you would not let a young person swim without a life preserver. As a collective, the world has been fearful. Many found themselves slipping back to eating foods they hadn't had in years. Many were home to bake. many had a shift in exercise routines. Some had the chance to focus on eating better than they every had in years with extra time at home. Many decided to eat for the immune system. Whatever the style you chose, it was exactly correct for you, at that moment in time, as long as it felt good. It certainly might have tasted great but you must feel good about what you are consuming. Heading into the Autumnal or Spring equinox (depending on your area), is a great time to hit the reset button. My body was letting me know I had had enough extra bread items. Bread is related to anchoring in the aBUNdance code into the grids. ( Buns are a form of bread , LOL) With all the fear of lost jobs, lost businesses, lost homes, lost wages, etc... the earth needed the power of the light grids to amplify the code of abundance. I did not pay too much attention to weight. I flowed with the rhythm of feeling good. Creating delicious food to share with friends, exercising, and working on projects. As we ordered from farmers markets and local restaurant, I truly felt happy that our purchase was helping our local community. Some days all I craved was potato chips and chocolate. Those were the days the plasma light rays were pounding the planet. Other days, it was gluten free ravioli on a bed of organic pea shoots. Those were the days the photonic light rays were anchoring. It becomes really fun to observe what is going on energetically. There is a reason why excess fat in cells is termed celluLITE. You are anchoring more LIGHT. Within reason of course. Your body as a vessel, requires much love and care on this trip through the earth in this present lifetime. If you are craving a certain food, it can very well be helping to stabilize your energetic structure. Your body may require the energy within that food. This brings a whole new dimension to eating doesn't it? Some weeks you may not eat a lot, other weeks you may be unable to stop. This can also relate to the Schumann Resonance. Since we are all each unique, I have not yet found consistency across the board with others. This is where the fun begins as we are all on our own journey together. In our house we now have two vegetarians, two heavy meat eaters, a warrior fighting cancer, and one little bit of everything. The little bit of everything requires enormous amounts of hydration these days, so fluid is also important to pay attention to. The following detox may be fun for everyone or it may not speak to you but I was guided to post it for the group. I love this. It is simple and also economical for everyone. As a wellness coach over the years, I tried many types of detoxes. Some cost thousands. What wouldn't you pay for your health? As we begin to function from many dimensions, we learn to follow the guidance of our higher self. My higher self requested this detox for three days this past week and I feel energized and so ready for the shift ahead. We have a super new moon , the fall equinox, and two more super new moons to follow in October and November. I hope you find this recipe helpful and this post on food insightful. As I like to keep my blogs here centered with the moon, farmers grow with the cycles of the moon so our harvests are very much tuned in to these sacred cycles. Kitchari is an ayurvedic tradition. It is typically done in Indian for 21 days as a spiritual journey adding many forms of wellness in addition to the food. There are many recipes online for Kitchari. If you eat a diet full of meat, dairy, and fat; you will want to take a few days to eliminate these foods prior to jumping right into this recipe. Follow your personal guidance and enjoy the journey. Kitchari 1 Cup Basmati Rice 2 cups split yellow mung beans 7-8 cups of water (boil ahead as you add the water in boiling) 2 TBS Sesame Oil ( not toasted) or olive oil 3 tsp. mustard seeds 2 tsp. Cumin powder or seeds 2 tsp. Tumeric powder 2 tsp. Coriander powder 2 tsp. Fennel powder 1/4 tsp. Ginger powder 1 pinch salt 1 pinch hing (optional) Vegetables cut in 1/4" to 1/2" pieces; up to two cups of the following : Zucchini, summer squash, onion,green beans, and sweet potato.Don;t add any that upset your digestive tract. Check for stones and wash the beans and rice separately. Saute the seeds in the oil until they pop ( about 1-2 minutes) then add the other spices, mung beans, and salt. Add the boiling water and heat the mixture on high until it reaches a boil. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Add the veggies and the rice. Add additional water if needed to cover. Bring back to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes covered. This mixture stays out at room temperature all day and you discard the leftovers. You make a new batch each morning at sunrise to embrace the energy of the day. You are able to eat as much as you like. Take it easy with gentle walks and pamper yourself as the body removes toxins of physical matter and emotions from your liver and beyond.
